Volunteers are needed to help at the LGBTQ Pride Booth at the New York State Fair (8/23 to 9/4) and for Pride Day, Friday August 25.  This is a great chance to support the LGBTQ community, meet new people and enjoy the New York State Fair! 

For 2023 the schedule at the Booth begins on Wednesday August 23 and runs every day to Monday September 4. The Booth is open from 10 am to 10 pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and 10 am to 9 pm on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

In addition to the shifts at the Booth, we need volunteers to help with the move from our storage area to the Fair on August 14, setup of storage and the Booth on Sunday August 20th from 12 noon to 4 pm, final setup of the booth on Tuesday August 22 from 12 noon to 4 pm, and break down of the booth and move back to storage on Tuesday September 5 from 11 am to 1 pm.

We also need volunteers for Pride Day Resource Fair, Friday August 25, for set up from 8 am to 10 am, and for shifts from 10 am to 12 noon, 12 noon to 2 pm, 2 pm to 4 pm, 4 pm to 6 pm pm, and breakdown at 7 pm. Volunteers for the shifts at the Booth are provided with admission tickets and a parking pass, for Pride Day we provide volunteers with admission tickets and a parking pass.
